Storksak Spring 09 Handbags- The Nappy/Diaper Bag That Every Mummy Must Have!

It was definitely a wintery weekend in Melbourne this weekend, with rain and a top of 13 degrees on Saturday it was a trip to the local video shop with the kids and just let them go crazy. We came home with Bee Movie and Bolt, both movies we had already seen...and now i pretty much know the scripts off by heart!

So with that said I am so looking forward to Spring approaching and getting back outside into the sunshine and watching the leaves and flowers reappear. One day left and we can all hopefully say goodbye to the winter blues.

With the new season approaching we are also blessed with the new Storksak Spring 09 arrivals and once again without disappointment the new season styles have landed on the shelves at Go Bubba Go. I must admit I am a bit like a kid in a candy store as I unpack from the boxes the Emily Taupe Leather Storksak Nappy Bag, then the Emily Bag in Black Leather, and the Alison Nappy Bag...ooh so soft and luxurious and with everything on the inside that every mum needs to be organized, while on the outside nothing that screams Baby Bag.

So spoil yourself for spring, get organized and check out the new styles available now at

Stokke Tripp Trapp Highchair

Go Bubba Go is now stocking another great product to make life easier with bubs, the Stokke Tripp Trapp Highchair is now in stock!

At Go Bubba Go we love products that offer great adaptability and design features and know that you will all agree that the Stokke is one of those products that stands out from the rest, apart from the many other wonderful features that the Stokke Tripp Trapp has to offer I must admit that to me the best feature is its looks, I have a true weak spot for baby furniture that doesn't look like baby furniture. My two year old loves her Red Stokke Tripp Trapp and it goes so well with my dark furniture and large red painted canvas that hangs on the wall.

Kite Flying - Up Up and Away or Not!

On the last day of the school holidays we did manage to sit down and make our very own kite out of a few sticks found in the park the day before, a brown paper bag from an earlier shopping trip, and finished off with some ribbons found about the house. I must say that I was very impressed with my recycling efforts, although I was not impressed with the kites efforts when it came to flying!

As you can see by the photograph our kite refused to take off up into the beautiful blue sky, probably the only day in Melbourne that there was NO wind. Oh well, never mind we had a great time running back and forth across the park trying to get the kite off the ground. So now we have put our kite away and will save it for a windy day...and back to school we go!

Benjamin Franklin . Make a Kite | PBS

Like most we are coming to the end of our school holidays here in Melbourne. My eldest little bub (turns 6 in 10 days) started school this year so I was very excited when it came time for the first dose of school holidays, yes you read that right, excited... to a long lazy morning, sleeping in just a little bit, and not running around like a headless chook every morning trying my hardest to get to school on time in a calm and relaxed fashion.

I was talking today to my almost 6yr old about what we had done together in the holidays and just how quick the last 2 weeks had passed and how I really had imagined doing so many more things together and now we have one weekend left before we are back into the school routine. So i asked, what would you like to do this weekend? Mum I want to make kites and fly them in the park, I need sticks, fabric, and lots of string! she said excitedly. So now how do i make a kite that will actually fly and not be too disappointing... and then i came across a great little blog on beautiful handmade bunnies, not even looking for or thinking of kites and wow... there it was, a link to how to make a kite! We will attempt to fly kites this weekend after all.

Maybe you might like to fly kites with your little ones, click on the link below if you are like me and need instructions.
